Spring Season Updates

Download Techne App:

Attention Soccer Community,
Due to the Stay at Home Order issued to Montana, The Wildhorse Youth Soccer Association Board is sadly canceling the Spring Soccer Season. We will be working on refunds over the weekend. Wishing the best for our community!
Don't forget to download the Techne App and keep playing!

Dear Wildhorse Youth Soccer Community,

We’re very excited to announce that we are partnering with @technefutbol to provide a resource that will allow our players to continue to train and interact with their team and coaches in an online platform. The Techne Futbol app (technefutbol.com) is developed by long-time professional player Yael Averbuch.

There is no cost to our players.

Players will be receiving an email invitation to join Techne Futbol, then can access the app via the app store and start training! If you do not see the email, please be sure to check your spam folder and all email addresses it may have been sent to, then email wysaplains@gmail.com for assistance.

Players should be logging a minimum of 90 minutes per week of individual training using the Techne app. There are weekly sessions, time trial drills, and players can compete with their teammates to climb to the top of the leaderboard each week. We will be grouping age groups and awarding prizes to weekly and monthly leaders!!

We are committed to our players' development on and off the field and are very excited to be offering this resource! If you have any trouble accessing your account, please contact support@technefutbol.com

If you are in need of a soccer ball please contact us and we will get one delivered to you!!

Coaches and players will be receiving an email soon to get started! Who will be on top of the leaderboard next week?!

Statement from Montana Youth Soccer:

"Unfortunately, our sport and its related activities provide an opportunity for the virus to spread. Montana Youth Soccer feels it is our duty to help our soccer families avoid these situations (see the CDC excerpt below).

“...COVID-19 is mainly spread through respiratory droplets (sneeze, cough or sweat) when in close contact (within 6 feet) OR by touching a surface with such droplets and then touching one’s own mouth, nose or eyes...”

This is an unprecedented situation which has caused an unavoidable outcome. This decision was made in accordance with US Soccer, US Youth Soccer and information from medical agencies and professionals. While it is not easy for us to take this step, it is in the best interest of the health and safety of the entire youth soccer family in Montana that we do.

Montana Youth Soccer will remain vigilant as we evaluate conditions on a continuing basis to determine when it is appropriate to reinstate our affiliated and sanctioned soccer activities. Further communications will be provided via email, our website and social media. Our goal is to return to the game we all love as soon as possible."

Refunds will be considered if information changes.
